What to include
- Include the Beam vehicle ID and a photo showing the purple branding.
- Give the exact address or a nearby landmark, plus the time of the report.
- Use the Australian 24/7 phone number for an urgent obstruction; use the form or email for routine reports.
- Beam says a badly parked report can trigger a marshal to move the scooter, so include enough detail to find it.
If Beam does not respond
Contact the council or transport authority that permits shared scooters in your city. Councils hold the operator's permit conditions and usually have an escalation contact, and many have their own reporting form for badly parked hire vehicles. If the vehicle is blocking a road or a crossing and is an immediate danger, contact your local authority or emergency services as appropriate.
You can also report it here: a moderator checks reports and forwards them to the operator on your behalf, and the report appears on the public map so councils and operators can see where problems cluster.
