Bird contact details
How to report a badly parked Bird scooter or e-bike
Bird operates shared e-scooters in selected cities. Bird's own contact page lists a support email and help centre; city programmes also publish a support phone and local email addresses. Bird's city footprint changes often, so check the app or your council's permit list if you are unsure whether Bird operates there.
Official ways to report
- [email protected]
- Bird Help Center
- Bird — Contact us
- In the Bird app: Tap the caution icon on the map, then choose 'Badly Parked Bird'. You do not need to be a rider. City programmes describe this as the fastest route to Bird's local team.

What to include
- Include the Bird vehicle ID and the city, because support is handled locally.
- Photograph the scooter and what it is blocking, plus a close-up of the ID.
- For urgent obstructions, use the local phone number where one is listed.
- If Bird no longer operates in your city, report the abandoned vehicle to the council.
If Bird does not respond
Contact the council or transport authority that permits shared scooters in your city. Councils hold the operator's permit conditions and usually have an escalation contact, and many have their own reporting form for badly parked hire vehicles. If the vehicle is blocking a road or a crossing and is an immediate danger, contact your local authority or emergency services as appropriate.
You can also report it here: a moderator checks reports and forwards them to the operator on your behalf, and the report appears on the public map so councils and operators can see where problems cluster.
Questions
How do I report a badly parked Bird scooter?
Use the caution icon in the Bird app, the Bird help centre, or the local phone number or email above. Include the vehicle ID, location, time and a photo.
Bird is not in my city any more. What now?
Report the abandoned vehicle to your local council. Councils can remove obstructing devices and identify the current operator.
Does Bird have a UK phone number?
Bird's own contact page lists email and the help centre rather than a phone number. City programmes publish local numbers where they exist; use the contact listed for your city above.
